For any withdrawals, an email must be submitted to neznc1974@gmail.com.
If you withdraw prior to grading (11 February 2022 AMND or 18 February 2022 SADNA) a refund request for the Northeast Zodiac and SADNA fees must be submitted to neznc1974@gmail.com. This will be processed within 28 days of request.
If you withdraw after grading begins (12 February 2022 AMND or 19 February 2022 SADNA) and prior to teams being announced, the club will retain an $80 administrative fee.
If you withdraw after teams are announced on 11 April 2022 no refund will be provided.
Withdrawals due to medical reasons will be considered on a case by case basis.

If I/my child wishes to withdraw, what then?

No, you don’t need to pay the Netball SA fee twice. This is all managed through PlayHQ. The first club a person registers for will show the Netball SA fee. Any other clubs a player registers for will only need to pay the club/association (e.g. SADNA/AMND) fee.

If I/my child plays for two clubs during winter, do I have to pay the Netball SA fee twice?

Yes, this fee is payable once a year covering 01 April 2022 to 31 March 2023, regardless of when you register within the year.

If I/my child only wants to play in the Summer 2022/23 season, do I need to pay the Netball SA fee?

As this is a Netball SA Fee, there is no reimbursement from the club for this.

If I/my child plays in the winter season and not summer, what reimbursement do I receive on my Netball SA fee component?

There is no option to pay in instalments yet, Netball SA are investigating additional methods for payment.

Is there an option to pay in instalments or do I need to pay upfront?

No, payments must be made via PlayHQ using Credit or Debit Card.

Can I pay via bank transfer like I used to?

From 01 January 2022, sports vouchers will be available to primary school aged children from Reception to Year 9 (2007 to 2017). You will be asked to provide Medicare details.

How old does my child need to be for me to claim a sports voucher and how do I claim a sports voucher on PlayHQ?

Yes, we will still be honouring the previous Life Member discount. To redeem this, there is a code on the first registration information page. Enter this code into the voucher section of the payment and summary window in PlayHQ. Refer example above.

Will there still be a Life Member discount?

Yes, we will still be honouring the previous Third Family Member discount. To redeem this, there is a code on the first registration information page. Enter this code into the voucher section of the payment and summary window in PlayHQ. This can ONLY be applied to the youngest child.

What does my Netball SA fee include?

For players registering in the Winter 2022 and Summer 2022/23 seasons.

What does the Membership Fee structure look like now?

All Netball SA affiliated clubs are impacted by this change.

Is this change just for our club or are other clubs affected too?

For a few reasons:

The previous Membership model was confusing and convoluted.
The new competition management system, PlayHQ, has a different architecture which didn’t allow for the existing membership structure however the new system has many other benefits.
Sport is changing. The traditional membership has evolved and the costs of operating as well as the long-term impacts of Covid-19 need to be considered in any membership structure.
